Lacoste
Three separate collections were introduced by Lacoste:
• a flowing “beachy” version of their brand featuring dirndl skirts and loose layers,
• a sporty line of great pieces like sherbert-colored bodysuits, and
• a youthful edition of Lacoste with charming graphic prints.
Marc Jacobs
The “king of cool” hurled out separate tops and bottoms to mix and match and included must-have bags during his Spring 2009 show.
Diane von Furstenberg
Diane von Furstenberg's runway sent out a somewhat “boho vibe” which consisted of mixed prints, floaty printed chiffon dresses and sheer-layered styles.
Michael Kors
Michael Kors introduced his original trademark of American sports wear down the runway. Most of the sports wear contained dots or stripes to imply detail and boldness of the designs.
Vera Wang
Vera Wang's designs stood out from those of the other designers on the Spring 2009 Fashion Week catwalk. Her stylish separates and complete layered pieces were exceptionally different in a sense that they were adored by many.

Carolina Herrera's runway for spring was filled with designs and with ruffles, rose prints, appliqués and elegant corset tops
Betsey Johnson
A pirate’s life is Betsey Johnson’s main theme during the Fashion Week. Pirate-inspired line of ruffles, petticoats and corsets dominated her runway on Spring 2009.
Tracy Reese
Tracy Reese presented a feminine and elegant show presenting designs with various prints, colors and shapes. Although feminine, they were not at all too mushy or frou frou.
BCBG
BCBG introduced color- spliced, cityscape shades and loose-fitting shapes on their runway for spring 2009.
